Ferdinand Porsche would have been 141 years old today. On September 3, 1875 he was born in Vratislavice in Czech Republic as the third child of Spengler Anton Porsche.
His love for technology started at a very early age. Today he can undoubtedly be called one of the most important automobile constructors in the world. With 25 he built the first hybrid vehicle in the world, with 35 he won the famous Prinz Heinrich race with a car he built and drove, with 42 he was General Manager of Austro Daimler and with 55 he opened his own construction office.
Ferdinand Porsche died aged 75 in Stuttgart, his grave is located, however, in Zell am See in Salzburg.
